Concept for reusing Christmas event set for a murder mystery production
The Big Idea
After the Christmas event run, repurpose the existing North Pole set (Celestial Hall, Peppermint Powerplant,
Elf Toy Co., Post Office, etc.) for a murder mystery dinner event. The set is already built, themed, and
proven - we just need to add a murder.
Advantages
Set already exists and is paid for
Christmas theming is unique in murder mystery market
Staff already familiar with venue
Can run in January when venue might otherwise be dark
Celestial Hall (Main Dining)
Could become: Santa's Grand Banquet Hall - main crime scene or announcement location.
Where guests dine and where acts begin/end.
Peppermint Powerplant
Could become: The factory floor where a suspicious "accident" occurred.
Industrial setting good for physical evidence.
Elf Toy Co.
Could become: Workshop where victim was last seen working.
Lots of props and hiding places for clues.
Post Office
Could become: Mail room with incriminating letters/packages.
Documentary evidence location.
Old Map Room
Could become: Santa's private study.
Where secrets are kept, good for private interrogations.

Who gets murdered?
Santa himself? (Bold choice, high stakes)
Head Elf / Workshop Manager? (Less sacrilegious)
Mrs. Claus? (Emotional impact)
