DMX/Art-Net address plan, fixture modes, and confirmed vs. unconfirmed status for every room's lighting.
Last updated 2026-09-24, live on-site session. Source of truth: Halloween 2026/dmx-troubleshooting.md and platform/fixtures/dmx/*.json in the repo — this page is a static snapshot, re-generate it after any future re-addressing session.
Real photographed manual on file. Running mode H, 26 channels: 8 independently-addressable RGB zones + flash + master dimmer. Full spec →
6 channels: dimmer, r, g, b, strobe, color_cycle. Unchanged from the original setup, only its address shifted when the room blocks were resized.
No model number or manual — confirmed by live on-site testing only. Running 24 channels: 8 zones of plain RGB, no separate flash/dimmer. 12ch and 48ch modes were tried and are NOT reliable (macro/auto-cycle behavior) — do not use them. Full spec →

Total: 492 of 512 channels used on universe 0.
Drawing Room's 2nd main bar (467): same 26ch mode-H shape as any main bar — zone1 r/g/b = 467/468/469 … zone8 = 488/489/490, flash = 491, dimmer = 492. Library's 2nd second-bar (443): same 24ch shape as any second bar — zone1 r/g/b = 443/444/445 … zone8 = 464/465/466, no flash/dimmer channel.
Starting from the room's "main bar start" address above: zone1 = start..start+2 (r,g,b), zone2 = start+3..start+5, … zone8 = start+21..start+23, then flash at start+24, dimmer at start+25.
Starting from the room's "second bar start" address above: zone1 = start..start+2 (r,g,b), zone2 = start+3..start+5, … zone8 = start+21..start+23. No flash/dimmer channel in this mode.
Confirmed = live-tested with distinct colors per zone, visually verified on-site. Unconfirmed modes should not be used until re-tested.
Separate from the room bars above: the RGBW LED strips are driven by small DMX nodes (Arduino Mega + DMX shield + ESP32 radio), each with its own short DMX line starting at channel 1. The show computer sets their colors over the wireless show network, and each node remembers its last look, so the strips light by themselves at power-on. Node 1 (two RGBW strips) and node 2 (a 24 V theater strip) are working, both saved as UV purple. The show tablet's DMX strips pop-up also drives the moving-head beam lamps on these nodes.
Parts, jumpers, wiring, firmware and each node's channel map: DMX node build.
Solid colors straight from the 24-channel decoder's DIP switches (FUN mode), for strips with no node: decoder standalone colors.
